Wilford Woodruff Met 30 Sioux yesterday. They all wiched to come into camp so we gave them supper. they remained all night, but were good & stole nothing.

Wilford Woodruff The Sioux are in camp this morning. we gave them Breakfas. They stayed with us untill we started. some little traiding was done.

Wilford Woodruff We've arived at Beaver Creek. There are some Beaver on this creek about one mile above its mouth.

Wilford Woodruff Gave Pawnee Indians about 4 lbs of tobacco 15 lbs lead powder fish Hooks beads flour salt &c. but still they were not satisfied.

Wilford Woodruff There are 2 large Pawnee Indian villages here. About 75 came into camp including the grand Chief of the Nation with many war Chiefs.

Wilford Woodruff Our fisherman drew a net this afternoon & broat into camp 213 fish Buffalo & Carp which was divided in the camp

Wilford Woodruff Elder Little arived with P Rockwell & 2 others with the mail. I recieved 2 Letters. One was from Mrs Woodruff which I read with interest.

Wilford Woodruff The Bugle will be blown at half past 8 oclok at night when all will go to prayers in their several waggons & retire to bed by 9 oclok.

Wilford Woodruff The Bugle will Blow at 5 oclok in the morning to arise & pray & two hours will be allotted to dress pray cook eat feed Horses Harness &c.
